Regional Workshop: Events for New Jersey Teachers
New Jersey teachers are invited to hands-on professional development workshops where you will learn to use the Protein Data Bank (PDB), visualized bio-molecular structures and understand their functions in health, disease and biology research. Participating teachers will be able to introduce their students to the PDB and guide their structural exploration of HIV related molecules, leading up to participation in a video challenge, highlighting a molecular structural perspective of some aspect of HIV/AIDS. The workshops will be offered in two different formats: two Wednesdays (October 2 and October 9) from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm or one all-day workshop on Saturday, November 9 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. All workshops will be at the Center for Integrative Proteomics Research at Rutgers, Piscataway, NJ.
To register, or if you have questions, please contact email@example.com and provide your name, contact information and school name. Please indicate which workshop you would like to attend.
